Our hearts are longing for our lives to be centered on Christ, for our hands to join in unity, for women to break down the walls that keep us from worshipping together. God has placed a burden on our hearts so strong that we cannot deny moving forward to make a change in the one place we can make the most impact…our city!
This Saturday night we will gather with women to join hands, hearts, and voices together.
To praise.
To worship.
To pray.
To proclaim that placing Jesus at the center of our lives has the power to break down walls that divide. To proclaim that we will focus our hearts on our Shepherd and we will follow His lead to love one another despite our differences.
When I think about being centered I think about strength; I think about the core of our being that all other things flow forth from, and I think about power. My hearts desire if for my strength to come from Christ; for all things in my life to flow forth from the love I have for Him, and to take steps forward fueled by His power alone!
When I look around my city I see hurting, I see broken, I see work to be done. Certainly, your city may be much the same. God plants us each in different places and He asks us to love one another, to forgive, to help, to reach out so that His body makes Him known. His desire is for healing. His desire is unity among His children. His desire it that our lives be centered on The Lamb, that gave His life for ours.
The results are life. Life abundant!
The results are healing. Healing of all hurt.
“For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:17
We invite you to be centered. Yes, to come and join us at the event we have name centered, but more than that. We invite you to live a life centered on Jesus.
Right where you are, determine in your heart, who will ground you. Who will give you strength. Who will bring you life.
When you invite God to take CENTER stage in your life you will not be disappointed in the ending!
When you invite Jesus to be the Center of your life you will want to see a change in your city and that change can start with you.
