Isaiah 60:1-2
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.”

more than you can have music without notes or

and furthermore, you cannot be light without The Light.
Back in February I wrote these words:
“God calls us to do something, to BE the light, not just hold the light.” That thought has lingered with me since that time. Sometimes when we are called by God it is not that he has something for us to do but rather something for us to BE.
2 Corinthians 4:6 says this:
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Did you see that? God takes our broken spirits, our broken lives, our ugly places and COMMANDS light to shine from the darkness. That is powerful…because when God commands things to happen – well ladies – they happen!
Then God takes the very Light that he gave Jesus himself and shines it in our hearts so that we may then GIVE light back out….give light out through giving GLORY to God!!
So, whether you eat or drink; or WHATEVER you do; do it all for the GLORY of God!!!! 1 Corinthians 10:31
