Well almost, or already, depending when you read this post!
I wasn’t planning to post anymore this week, but God is putting praise in my heart that I just want to share! It started this past weekend and it keeps bubbling over. Popping up, even though, I still struggle with my own physical pain. Spilling out, even though I’ve received call after call for prayer. Four new cancer diagnosis alone this week.
Can I back up a minute to last weekend? Twelve beautiful women gathered together to pray for you! Yes, YOU! We held hands to pray for anyone we have talked to or will talk to. Those we have met and those we have not. Those who can come in person to events we host and those who peek in from the blog. You are our Forever FF girls! We passed a heart and told stories, said our go-to bible verses and prayed. There is a recap of the discussion in the photo caption and that is where joy began bubbling in my heart!
We are preparing for a little praise party on Facebook and other social media avenues for Thanksgiving Day! We want people to know where our joy comes from…who it is that makes us sing! Will you join us from where you are?
You can look for me on facebook (Jodie Barrett or Faithfully Fit) We are having a Turn it Up Party…a praise party! We know it’s Thanksgiving but you can join in in just a few minutes time. (If you can not find me you can use this hashtag: #hemakesmeglad)
Here’s the 1-2-3:
1- Post what you are thankful for and really focus on who God is, rather than what He has given. (He is My Comfort, My Peace, My Deliverer, My Strength, My Prince of Peace…) and use the hashtag #hemakesmeglad
2-Post pictures of the small things that make you glad and use the hashtag
3-Post a prayer of thankfulness and use the hashtag
This week we want to turn up the praises! Pop them up everywhere!
Even in the depths of despair we have reason to rejoice! The love of God never leaves us!
God’s love is endless!
God’s grace abounds!
God’s mercy overflows!
He makes me glad!
Let’s tell others!
The measure of plenty versus want is not to be done with earthly scales and eyes.
Thank the Lord for the love He showers upon us, the grace He freely gives and the mercy we are undeserving of; He alone fills our cup!
