I WATCHED today.
I watched the hustle and bustle of life all around me.
I watched people running here and there making preparations for the storm.
I watched a guy sit with his head in his hands as he gathered his thoughts about his car that was leaking oil and what to do about it.
I LISTENED today.
I listened to a song about how much we take for granted in America.
I listened as my children hurt each others feelings one minute followed by laughing/singing together the next.
I listened to a friend dealing with medical problems explain to me that her latest test came back “normal”, yet she is still having seizures and headaches.
I THOUGHT today.
I thought about how blessed I am while I watched and listened…
but I also thought about how much I leave God out of it.
and then I decided that I WILL.
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
Psalm 9:1-2
Praying that tonight, no matter where you are, that you WILL too!
