My kids watch a cartoon entitled “Franny’s Feet.” It stars a little girl who helps out in her grandfather’s shoe repair business. At the start of the cartoon, the door opens and a customer brings in the shoes that need to be repaired. Franny gathers them up from her grandfather to place them in the fix it box; however, before she puts them in the box she tries on the shoes. “Where will my feet take me today?” she asks excitedly and off on an adventure she goes based on the shoes.

This past weekend while at the beach my husband made sure to take some pictures of his feet especially for my sweet friend and ministry partner, Jodie. Up on instagram they went with #feet and Jodie tagged as well. “Just for you!” my husband wrote. And then soon the reply “They tell a story.” Hmmmm…..

Where will my feet take me today?

They tell a story.

Many times over I was reminded by my parents to remember who I was and Who I represented. I was cautioned to be careful where I went and who I went with.

My feet..my life…they tell a story.

By the grace of God, overwhelmingly they tell a sweet story of trusting Jesus even when the storms of life come.

They tell a story of using the gift of song to reach people for Christ.

They tell a story of trusting God to hold my future as a physical therapist even during the waiting.

They tell a story of going from never getting married to falling in love with a Godly man who loves me as Christ loves the church.

They tell a story of a girl who almost gave up on church when the church had failed her husband.

They tell a story of a girl healing from emotional turmoil surrounding being touched inappropriately as a child.

They tell a story of a girl who has great friends in her life that got her help during postpartum depression.

They tell a story of walking alongside some beautiful women through a ministry known as Faithfully Fit

but most importantly……They tell a story of a girl undeserving of God’s grace being raised from the dead in Jesus!

All that other stuff is just details.

Where will my feet take me today? Right into the arms of a sweet Jesus! Tis’ so sweet to trust in Him…over and over!

“How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”

Isaiah 52:7
