It’s a wonderful rainy day here in my hometown! Perhaps yours too!
Grab a cup of coffee, your bible and lets hang out as friends that have something great in common…a heart for Jesus!
Over the last four years of serving in women’s ministries I have been blessed to meet many special women that live here and there! Often the only way we can keep in touch is through social media. So today I wanted to make a new friend or two and share a few of my sisters with you!
I can’t help but pause here and think of Paul and the many letters he wrote! Perhaps I should back up and say,
“To all God’s holy people…
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phillipians 1:1-6
Paul had such a beautiful way of greeting people in his letters. Do you think he would still use snail mail?
If you are here today I hope you take a moment to sip your coffee, read your bible and meet a few friends of mine.
What’s the point?
- Unity: The body of Christ was designed to move and work together. I just want to show you some special people I’ve seen shining light (even in the rain!) for Christ!
- Fellowship: My prayer is that you will leave a comment about how you love to serve the Lord and we can enjoy getting to know one another better!
- Prayer: I’ve placed a scripture with each friend I’m introducing, so leave one that is special to you! I’ll use them in my prayer time for YOU!
So sip your coffee and lets make friends!
Maggie! We have been friends for years with daughters of similar age. Life has put 5 hours of road between us but our hearts worship the Lord together and we continue to work on spreading the love and truth of Christ together! Maggie loves Queen Esther, homeschools Molly, creates beauty out of all she touches and makes one of a kind handmade wire wrap jewelry in her studio! You can trust that you have been prayed for by Maggie even though you don’t know her! It’s what she does@ Bgoodstudios (https://www.facebook.com/Bgoodstudio)!
” And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Lorri! Our coffee was to be shared in person today! The rain dampened our plans but not our spirits! Lorri was shining in my house today!
Let me show you!
An answer to prayer brought Lorri and I together through a phone call and we have been working together for God ever since! Lorri has the biggest smile and the sweetest laugh and I love that she takes time to pray with me even when it’s over the phone! Praise to the Father for bringing sisters together for His plans!
“For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”
2 Cor. 2:15
Jennifer, Heather, and Angel are the shining lights of The Rock! A local dance and cheer facility that graciously hosts our morning Faithfully Fit Classes. Each week they encourage girls with praise. They pray with students and provide a place they know they can turn to for love, encouragement and a ONE HEART environment!
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.”
I hope you have enjoyed meeting some of the sisters God has allowed me to watch them sparkle, shine and soar for Him. I have so many in mind that I just may have to do this again! But right now I really want to meet you! Would you take a moment to leave your name, one thing about you and a verse of scripture that is near to your heart! I know a whole bunch of God’s girls who would love to pray for you!!
