In a world filled with half-truths and propaganda, it is easy to become a skeptic, second-guessing what we read and hear. We may ask, what can we trust to be true anymore?

As believers, we can trust God’s Word to be the infallible word of God. What the Bible says is the truth. Real and true.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV

“…when you accepted the word of God…you accepted it not as human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.” 1 Thessalonians 2:13 NIV

God’s Word says many things about who we are in Christ. Because the Word is His, we can trust that what God’s says about us, we are.
You are an overcomer. (1 John 5:5)
You are rescued. (Colossians 1:13)
You are free from condemnation. (Romans 8:1)
You are chosen. (Ephesians 1:4)
You are a dwelling place for God. (1 John 4:15)

You are all that God’s Word says you are.
Do you trust that? Or do you struggle with trusting that the truths contained within the scriptures pertain to you personally?

Perhaps you feel they were written for others long ago or for someone else today, but not you.

When fallacies flood our thoughts and leave us feeling inferior and incapable, we have a powerful weapon to slay the lies the world leaves us believing.

Our weapon is the mighty Word of God.

As you explore God’s word using our printable resources we hope you will see your name in the scriptures and trust that you are exactly who God speaks of when He calls you loved, wonderfully made, alive with Christ.

We must stay alert, for as much as God desires we fill our hearts with truth, Satan wants to twist that same truth into lies that tempt us to turn from righteous living. He wants nothing less than for us to be trapped by His schemes, so we turn from righteous living. We find this demonstrated in Genesis 1 when Satan spews lies to Eve causing her to disregard God’s instruction, and again in the wilderness when Jesus was fasting for forty days. But just as Jesus’ firm knowledge of the Truth kept Him from believing the lies of Satan, the Word of God, stored in our hearts, can do the same for us.

Saturating our minds with scripture leaves us empowered to slay the lies of the Devil.

Join us this July as we journey, verse by verse, sharing scripture written for us.

Soak in more than the sun this summer… Soak in His truth.

As you linger in the goodness of God’s word, insert your name and proclaim, “Because He is God, and I am His, I am all His Word says I am.”
Trust that you are all that God’s Word says you are.
